I can ask the same question to you .... Why do you play semi or electro.

For me I started with a pump and like most went to semi and then to electro.
All in all it seemed more fun to go back to basic and play pump.
And it's more fun or at least to me it is ......

I played pump for the first time a few weeks ago. All I can say is that it is just more fun when you get the electro users out after they shoot a few hoppers at you. I progressed from semi to electro and now pump.

ya know what i found is not fun? I have a hammer 7 that I have been trying to play with for a couple weeks now and the mag springs are too stiff and paint is too brittle in the cold so it just destroys paint while feeding into the breach so I end up playing by hand loading one ball at a time from my pocket. Ya know kinda like a musket. sounds like fun and it is for about 10 min then its just frustrating.

Brian does a TON for Paintball around here, and his pricing is affordable I think.

Pump Nights are every Tuesday Night Indoor for $30, includes entry, air and 500 Paintballs. We play from 6ish to 9ish. Working on using the Okotoks Outdoor Field for Pump Nights during the summer.
Would rather a fresh case of Drax Field for $5 more over heat/custom blend/spectrum/hotbox/ crappy low end empire paint.

I usually shell out the extra $10+gst for Marbs filled with field fill, a lot better than that neon yucky green fill that stains gear. This is probably the only marbs I'm willing to shoot PERIOD, unless they bring in Formula 13 as a $5 upgrade. I don't mind F13 AT ALL!

Here in Edmonton our pump night as you may have seen Drew's posting on your FB or Alberta PB is $25, same deal but comes with the lower end empire paint.

Ah, right.

I won't mention that at my home field here in Boise, ID the Draxxus field grade paint is $9.99 a bag, or $35 for a case.

Or that the Valken Redemption is (I think) $45 for a case.

And now my friend brags about bringing his gear when he is going to the states this year to ball a lot. And I see why with $35-45 cases

When i began playing proteam colors was $80 a case in 1998 and Allstar was $120 a case but I remember that $120 dollor case shot like it was magic.

I started playing pump when i was 19, and was living off of ramen noodles and spaghetti. I'm settled in my life now and I live within my means.. I can afford to play however i want whenever i want.. but i shoot pump now because I can't get the thrills of paintball without a challenge.

but now I'd pay 120-140 for a case of guaranteed top end paint.
