Which is why I only shoot mechs.
The Enmey doesn't even have a spring, and just a few O-Rings to worry about.

Yup. Seen a load of Tippmanns, Egos, pretty much everything go down at big games... Pump'd cocker just keeps soldiering on!

And you get some great comments:

Was at an event last year that was semi only, had a ref walk up to me with "Sorry mate, gonna have to ask you to stop ramping!"

I've had that happen a few times.

That feeling you get...;
-upon bunkering one, or two speedballers, with $1500 setups. (Especially after they chirp you prior to the game)
-of being at home when snap shooting
-picking up a ball or two off the ground, and them actually making a difference

but most of all
-passing by another pump player, and giving 'the nod'

I typically carry one extra tube and give them 1 ball from it.

I'm an *** like that.

My Feedback!

Playing pump is definitely like a giant club. Kind of like the "Harley dueces" riders throw when they see one-another on the street. If you're going solo to a walk-on game, and there's another pump player, you're instantly friends.

That and I just always loved the look of pumps, to be honest. The first guns I ever fell in love with when I first started playing were the P68-SC and Minimag. So they became what I sought after, and quickly what I became comfortable with.

Exactly. There was a kid that was by himself in the staging area. I saw that he had a new empire tracer and I asked if he would like to play actually I just said "come on tracer guy you're playing with us" he jumps up and follows us to the field like he was a longtime friend.

That's awesome. I've run into that before. I normally bring a few buddies with me, but I've gone alone a few times, and there's always somebody else there with a pump looking for fellow enthusiasts. And unlike the agg kids, it doesn't matter what kind of pump you use, you're part of the club. You don't need the new(er) Empire Sniper, or a $1,000 Palmer custom. Only thing that'll get you teased is a Talon. Lol.
