Im just wandering why so many people are into pump markers?!?

because its more fun than spray and pray

its also easier to play on a budget and not shoot a case of paint (or more) per day
i played for 9 hours on saturday, shot 2 bags of paint
when i play semi its a bag or two per game

true, but get on a speedball field, playing 5's or 7's in 12.5 ramping, paint is flyin

i actually refuse to shoot 12.5 ramping at practice, i'll shoot semi but its still a pod or two a game easy

I find you just go through stages of paintball. I loved milsim so I had an A5 that was converted to be an AK47, that was 5 years ago. I then moved to speedball guns, which were fun and fast but paint costs $$$ and I find when using pump it makes things more difficult for me anyway but way more fun with that challenge. Hitting someone with a pump over an electro is awesome. I now switch from pump to electro depending on my mood

Thats what I play aswell. Ive played at a commercial field max 10 times in my life.

Yeah there is this huge paintball place close to me but after 10 bucks to get in 6 dollars for one tank of air and 50 in paint it gets veeerry expensive.

Speedball #2 $15 Entry/air, FPO ($50/case), 2 hours away

Woodsball #1 $20 Entry/air, BYOP, 45min away
Woodsball #2 $15 Entry, $10 Air, FPO ($60/case), 45min away

Indoor $25 Entry, $10 Air, FPO ($65/case), 1 hour away *bought a year membership, free entry, -$15/case, just pay air*

so $16 + paint is great, especially if its close!

now imagine splitting your paint bill in 4 because your a pump
