Greenhorn Intro

Hello all my PB brothers and sisters. I wanted to introduce myself. My name is Dale, I am 29 and I am just getting into the world of paintball. Look forward to learing lots from all of you.

No, he is not! When you lose track of all the packages due to arrive at your address, then you'll truly be one of us, one of us, one of us!

Welcome!

Do you know what is really ill?

My wife took a part-time job doing promotions for a local attorney. She had some form-type letters printed, and she keeps them in a box that a Christmas gift came to one of the kids in from UPS. Sort of "re-purposed".

Every time I see it on the dining room table, I get the sweats, and the nervous anticipation of being a MCB member, even though I have to check my brain every time I see it to see if I really bought something or not.

Buy stuff. It makes you feel better.

I did have less expensive markers before I joined this site and after I joined I have more expensive and small markers. LOL Great markers but this site isn't cheap. :P

The only piece of advise I can give you is do a lot of research on what you want to buy before you buy it. Learn from the mistake that we've all made from buying something and then after using it a few times we could kick ourselves in the butt because there was a better "device" for cheaper. Oh, and when you want to buy something look in the B/S/T section and try to save yourself some money!

Good luck and have some fun.

I hear ya. I hate paying retail for anything. And if I do, it's at the best price available. That's why it took me this long to get a gun. I acquired the one I got now off a trade involving a .22lr rifle that does not shoot.

The nice thing about buying used is that if you get something and don't like it, you can typically turn around and re-sell it for a price comparable to what you paid to acquire it. Of course you also assume the risks associated with no warranty; that, and getting screwed by a private seller. That last one is not too much of a problem around here, but it does happen. Always check feedback
