Practice and testing spots?

If you run drills, or just generally practice some of the elements of paintball, where do you go?

My backyard is not an option. It's mostly rocks and some dirt and grass. Not nearly enough to try slides of any sort. I'd like to be able to do it with equipment and I'm sure I'd cause a scene showing up at the park in what looks like tactical gear.
There were a couple times last I played that I felt knowing how to really do a proper slide would have made the difference of making it to the bunker or not. Should I even bother as a rec player?

Also, where do you test your markers at? I think my backyard, again, isn't a good spot. There was a shooting down the street. My neighbors said that where I'm at is pretty good, but because I did recently do some testing in my yard, I feel like I attracted some sort of bad karma or attention. Maybe I'm over thinking that last bit.

Just bouncing some ideas around and thought I might throw them out in the open.

I shoot in my back yard a lot just don't worry about it, what I do though is i will have some bottles hanging at different heights and distances and I will shoot at them and once you hit it once try to hit it while its moving that helps a lot, run, run and run some more speed makes a lot of difference in some cases and whatever else you need to work on I'm sure there's some way to practice it

I'm in the same spot as you, my garage isn't big enough for proper testing, and there's a city bylaw which strictly prohibits the discharge of firearms, airguns, airsoft, and paintball markers within city limits - plus I live across the street from two schools (therefore I keep my equipment well out of public view). To "just not worry about it" is asking for trouble.

I looked around on some local hunting/air rifle forums (and one pb forum) found the places they prefer to go locally. I won't make suggestions though, you're in the States and I'm in Canada, so the legality will probably be different between the two.

I get what your saying about the don't worry about it because your across from 2 schools I wasn't trying to come across that way, the way I meant it was the neighbors probably don't care but just to be Nice just ask them mine neighbors said asking as I'm not shooting at 12:00 at night I'm fine

I would just go to some nearby forest (if accessible in your area) given there are no people hanging out, you should be able to set up some cardboard targets and get a good practice. Hell you could even bring a couple of friends and have a little game. but for traget practicing as far as it doesn't disturb anyone, out in the bush should be a great place to do it. Then again I would check local laws to make sure there are no paintball playing bans in effect.
