Newbie looking for advice

I'm a newbie to pump markers and curious for reviews of the ACI Maverick as a beginners marker? Worth the money or move on?

$40 isn't bad for one, so if that's what you're paying go for it.

Make sure its a Maverick "Deluxe"

Deluxe versions come with an adjustable bolt making velocity adjustment MUCH easier. Its well worth the extra little bit of money.

For future reference, this is the Buy, Sell, Trade Forum. Next time use the Pump Marker section.

$84 is a bit much for a Maverick (also marketed as a Trracer). They are not bad starter guns but you can frequently find them between $30 and $50 without trying. If the gun is in immaculate condition and you know the seller personally it might be worth talking them down to $70 but I would keep looking if I were you.

Z50...he's talking about buying one of the new run of Mavericks. $80 for a brand new Maverick with all the backing of its manufacturer is well worth it.

Oh, well if it's new it is probably worth the money.

They are worth it, if you decide you don't like pump you can resell it.
