New to pump.

Hello all,
I'm looking to foray into the world of pump paintball. And I'm just trying to figure out what to get. The only pump I've fired was my uncle's old Bloodsucker (I think that's what it's called, its on the side). I liked how it looked and how it felt shooting in the backyard. I went to my pro-shop and I saw the only pumps they had were Hammer7's and Empire Snipers. So not alot of choice there. So I'm basically asking what are my other options? What would you guys suggest?
Any help would be great.
Thanks

a great entry to the world of pump is to pick up a used Trilogy Autococker and throw a pump kit and decent small bore barrel on it (I'd go for a lurkerpb eigenbarrel at .678 bore). You can put the entire thing together for less than $100 or if you put on an HPR maybe $150 at the most.

First your going to want to look at Stock Class and Open Class, I'll let you look that one up. But as Falcon16 said, you can get some pretty wicked deals if you look around. Check your local Craigslist, and see what there is. Its also beneficial to handle other peoples markers at the field. See what you like.

If you liked the Bloodsucker, you'll LOVE the Phantom.

take your time, get a good mask and tank. best you can find. and test different pumps b4 you invest alot. you can find something at any price $20-$400+. there is a pretty good chance your going to own more than one. if you keep playing listen to every one's ideas but makeup your own mind. you might even find a bloodsucker on here from time to time. i know i have. ps it's not to hard to read to deep into things. just try to get your hands on as many markers as you can till one stands out.

Thanks for the advice. I did look it up, and I like Open Class better. Stock Class just looks kinda off :S

The phantom does look quite a bit like the Bloodsucker. Again newbie question, but are all phantoms that flashy?

I've played scenario for a couple years now. So I'm not new to the sport, just new to pump. I have a Grillz mask and a 45/3000 tank.
Just want to try pump because it looks like alot of fun, and I like the idea of picking my shots.

Should also add, I liked the Bloodsucker because it felt like I was shooting a real rifle (have only shot airguns, but mleh?) I like it because I think it's more realistic then shooting speedball guns. Is there a pump that looks like the bloodsucker (like tank out the back, or behind trigger assembly) that chronos?

you can get a backbottle valve body for a phantom that will put the tank in the same spot as the bloodsucker.

Dude, look at the hammer7. Looks real-ish, can be open class, can use mags.
Really cheap.

Cheers
