New to mcarterbrown, but not paintball

Hello good people, I am just getting on to this forum and would like to introduce myself. I am from Virginia and currently own a 98 custom, Alpha Black, and a ~2004 smart parts impulse. You know, the blocky, squareish one. I get a lot of "wow, I remember buying one of those when they were brand new! Those were the days!"

I play woodsball, usually with 1-3 friends with me on a normal walkon day at our local field. I have been playing for 3 years now. So anyway that's me, I'm excited to learn some new stuff and hopefully help others once I get the knowledge!

Welcome. Hide your wallet. MCB creates a certain lust for guns that can leave you penniless!

I hope you know you'll soon be benching those Tippmanns for other eye popping markers you see on this forum. LOL

How handy are you with markers that spend most of their time being repaired, on field, in the middle of a game? Cause that is a solid 50% of what this form is about.

1) Buy vintage restoration project
2) Finish project
3) Go to field to play, but realize the valve is in wrong or some other 'minor' issue
4) Spend most of the day putzing with it, while talking about paintball games with other people
5) Give up, buy a new project, repeat.

...here is the solution before you damage your wallet. Buy any CCM (pump) marker...that is all you will shoot, problem solved...

Welcome Aboard!
