When I play with my Phantom with a 16" Boomsatick I regularly have people ask me if my gun is broken because you can barely hear the shot and it sounds like it should only be shooting about 100. Porting + Efficiency = Super Quiet

Here's Firepro84 with his not-so-quiet barrel. Actually just a Stiffi back.

And surprisingly he was able to get it to shoot 285. And yeah, it was very loud.

Just have to say , after owning a BOA concellor I can rember it being so quiet that the only thing I could hear when firing it was the main spring on the bolt zinging back and forth.

Even to the point that when playing I had to reach out and stop several people from walking through my stream of paint.

Thats just the experience I had with my concellor.

Wish I hadn't sold to a guy on AO , Iknow it never get used, it just collects dust with the rest of his gear.

How was the accuracy? About the same as with the 14" of CF in front of that back?

The bastard one-balled me from across the field. It was surprisingly accurate.

This is louder though:

Really, it's not that hard to make a raincover. I have made them, I know what works well, I will be at blanding for those of you curious folks that are going...(aren't all mcber's curious?) I found out how to make these and a few other things in a cd I purchased online on ebay...which I have now lost........

I had a raincover on my 98 custom and whenever it shot it was.....SEVERLY quiet....I had a comment that I will never forget which is and I quote, " it sounds like a cat fart."

Skiddish

see everyone at blanding
