Painting an A5

I looked around and thought that this was the best place to post, if not please move to right place. As for the question; I have to do an airbrush project for art and I'm feeling creative with the A5. Now I am just wondering what to do. Im a good artist but ideas just don't pop in much. Right now I'm thinking of doing a sorta candy blue to black back to candy blue fade(other colors can be substituted) and then putting the chinese symbol for honor underneath the rear sight. What do you all think? I am very open to other paint schemes just need alittle help.

Not to thread jack, but I am in the same boat, but reversed:

I have a Ricochet AK I traded a Halo TSA for today, I like it, but its sticky with paint and the whole thing is a rather nasty -almost- OD green. Would a fine sandpaper work to remove this?

And now back to the real thread!

Why dont you do a themed one? Like, perhaps your favorite movie or book, something like that.

I've always liked the graveyard themes... really IMO the more detail the better they look. Here's a monotone graveyard cocker

And of course SiN Customs graveyard spyder which is a classic..

Wow I that second graveyard scene alot. I would do a theme i like, but that would make selling this all the worse. As soon as it's graded its out the door to pay for my newest marker. So as of now I have that graveyard scene or something like this:

Personally, I'm with MAD. I have always liked the Dark side. Just gives the gun the UNIQUE look. Not Many around. Lots of fades and stuff like that, but non that are graphics. Well ODD, but who has $500 to spend on decals.
Later,
Blackrain

Ya I think I'll go with a graveyard scene and put maybe a grim reaper or something on the flatline barrel. That seems pretty good and it will be unique sort of.

My first try was a dud. The art teacher was going to help fix some details and didn't clear the airbrush first and there was a big splatter of green. So try number two whenever i get another chance. I'll probably duracoat it once it's done.
