Yeah, some of each is good. I have a Mag, a Buzzard, and a Fusion. Perfect balance IMO. No brass currently though.

I personally like cockers. I have an electro cocker, three mech cockers, and two pump cockers (also called "snipers"). Love 'em.

As lond as it's paintball...I don't care if I'm using a slingshot or a cyborg..."fun is fun"....
Same goes for scenarios, trees or hiding behind blowup dolls...."Just get your paint on"

If you really want to go middle of the road, get an Airpower Vector.

It's clearly the best mechanical semi ever made (though the H8TR may or may not out do it), and there's not a wire or an electrical circuit in its perfect little form

Speaking as a hardware freak (I just spent my free time today changing the config on my Sovreign 2 and Polishing the sear/hammer sets on my Two USP pistols) I'll say that your analogy holds true if you have to pick One gun against another. I'll side with listessa here and say that some of each is ideal. If you're gunwhores like us.

However.

Just as with cars, there's more to paintguns than raw speed.
I.E. your formula firebird is probably a teensy bit better, Crash-worthiness wise than the Riced out civic. not to mention the back seat is more comfortable for Post-race celebration.
A brand new Invert Mini is lighter, faster, more efficient and shinier than my carbine, for example.
But I'd bet you that right out of the box, it couldn't hit +/- 1fps consistency, On CO2. And that furthermore, it wouldn't handle like an AR-15. (Never did get that crooked-wrist, high center of gravity stance those agglets crunch themselves into)

If you want to check out some pumps come find me and be prepared to spend some money. As my team-mates won't be there this weekend you can't check out their electros...But, I'm almost certain that if you want you could ask anyone out at the field on saturday to borrow their gun and test it out on the chrono range.

Gators a complete joke dude, I wouldn't waste the gas let alone the thought of going to that dump again.

I have about 3 acres here in the county that we go play on. Need to check out any guns, let me know. I'll pull them off the wall for you.

Titus I will say it only once,

Just because you and Tim had a falling out is no reason to bash the field because of the inner working of the politics between the two of you.

That is all I'll say and I'd APPRECIATE it if you deleted that post.
