Where can I get a 16" all-american for my vm-68? Does Smart Parts still offer the thread type?

Pretty sure that ebay will be your best bet, or the B/S/T threads here.
I don't think smart farts sells them anymore.

ron-asp on ebay prooly has one you would have to email him so that he could look through his stock to see if he has one or not

If you end up having to go to Ron-ASP, be sure to document everything and try to pay with something that has buyer protection - like Paypal.

hint....If you find what you want from him...send a email and see if he haggle...give him a fair offer...he may take it....

Nope, definitely thinking of Ron. He sent me the wrong part, ignored my emails and eBay messages to him for weeks, replied only when I escalated to Paypal - and then did so with a nasty little "you didn't read the auction" message.

I did read the auction, he had sent me the incorrect item, and when I passed copies of the auction link back to him he again ignored me for weeks, until yet again I had to escalate the claim through the Paypal system.

At the end of it, I was able to retrieve my money, but he was rude, arrogant, and dismissive through the entire process - which was unfortunate, as I had gone to him for plenty of small parts beforehand, and had intended to continue.
