| Banned in 37 States Join Date: Mar 2006 Location: Peterborough, ON, Canada | There is absolutely NO law against importing a paintball marker into canada. You do, however, need to declare it at customs when you get back. and as above, make sure not to import a mil-sim marker. You can get away with most wood-stocked markers, but something like a Tippman x-7 with a full body kit would probably get seized by poorly informed customs agents. And as above, include an APG or Facefull in the same bag as the marker, it provides a point of reference for customs agents.

| MCB Member Join Date: Aug 2006 Location: Boise, Idaho | I've had zero trouble domestically flying to/from Idaho/California. In CA they inspected them with a fine tooth comb and treated it very seriously, took like a half hour... In Idaho the ticket agent had me talk to security, and that guy told me how cool it was. Then we spent about 10 minutes talking about paintball, firearms and monster trucks.

| MCB Member | TSA rules state info about paintball guns. All you have to do is claim it at the counter. Just down load a copy and have it with you. Nothing really they can do as long as it's theitr rules and you have it in their face on hand. Later, Blackrain

| Active Member Join Date: Feb 2008 Location: BC, Canada | My brother just came back from a trip; we live in Canada; all he did was claim was say, "I have some paintball markers I'd like to claim as unloaded firearms." and they just took them over, inspected, tagged and then put it with the rest of the luggage. As long as you let them know you have them, you'll be fine, no need to go out of your way with extras, as long as you claim it. |
