| Paintball gun in luggage? Well I am off on a journey to the Philippines next week. If i find any nice markers or some project one I could work on I will most likely pick it up. I am not sure if its legal to bring it back through the border to Canada. Are there any tips or information that i need in order to bring back a paintball marker or two. I am not planning on buying any air tanks so that shouldn't be a problem. Also any information on airsoft guns? Thanks alot. btw it will not be in my carry on |

| I did not have any issues hauling my phantom back and forth to England from the US. Granted, the laws are surely different, but it wasn't any problem for me. I didn't have to declare anything special, and as long as I didn't take anything pressurized, any paint, or any oil along, it was A.O.K. to check a marker in my luggage. |

| check with customs on both ends, leaving the Philippines and entering Canada. in the US, you can transport a gun in luggage as long as its not in your carry on. make sure that you declare it first, so they no what to expect, when they do a check of your bags. |

| I Am The Admin | As long as it's not in your carry on, I've never had a problem. But of course I was flying domestically. As Harb said... bring some magazines... That's a great idea. Even make sure that your particular paintball gun is in it, or print off some info from the manufacturers web page too. Check with customs, but as far as I remember, only Germany had on of the strict paintball gun in/out rules.

| Banned | Prior to 9-11 when I flew with mine I made a point of telling the Airline, and US Airways asked that I take them onto the plane, and turn them over to the stewardess, who then placed them in a closet. Since 9-11, I havent been able to get away with that though |

| I've taken back a few from England, with no problems. However, remember Canada has some specific laws regarding paintguns. Specifically, I would suggest NOT bringing back any that look like real guns. Ie MIL-SIMs, and most tippmanns. Canada classifies MIL-SIM paintguns and airsoft as real weapons, subject to regulation. Like Harb said, paintmags are a huge help. It doesnt hurt to partially disassemble the paintgun, or even put on a trigger lock. In the USA, you can transport firearms legally. Also, valves have to be removed completely.

| It helps that the Phillipines is one of the few asian countries where paintball is more popular than airsoft and they've got a pretty healthy gun culture. I don't foresee you having any problems as opposed to flying from one of the more firearmphobic countries. |
