Following the instructions always leave my mask streaky and I can never get the lens as clear as it is fresh from the factory. So does anyone have a mask cleaning technique that works especially well? |

| Every Dog has its Day | I dont remember the name off the top of my head. I bought this stuff from a gun show that seems to work really well. It is used for anti-fog in ballistic glasses and also repairs scratched shop glasses and other plastic lens gear. It is more of a gel but it works wonders. Try looking around for some product like that. I bought the stuff from a local guy who is making this stuff himself. He is trying to start up a business. |

| MCB Member | My teammates all do the same as you. I am too cheap for plexus, so i just do the water, microfiber, more water to finish the job if anything left, diff micro fiber. You can get the cloths for a few bucks. I have a few just cause of all the masks i have owned. They are great.

If I need to clean, I turn the mask sideways, and using a fine mist, spray like crazy to remove the paint. Then I shake the mask. When it drys, if the spots are bothersome, I use a clean microfiber to wipe the lens. At home, I remove the lens and wet a clean microfiber. I use this to clean the edges and tabs of the lens. Rinse, repeat. Then I rinse a clean microfiber with warm water, and wring well. Using this clean microfiber, I wipe the inside and outside of the lense. At this point, the lens should be paint free. After the lens is dry, I wipe with a clean lens cloth to remove any dust, etc. I usually totally disassemble my mask and wash all the parts with warm water and a few drops of laundry detergent in the sink. I rinse two or three times to remove the detergent from the foam and straps. Carefully squeeze out the foam and the strap. Let everything dry thoroughly (24 hours or more) and reassemble. Wipe the lens with the lens cloth one more time, and store in a mask bag. When you wash your microfibers, dry them seperately and do not use fabric softener, or dryer sheets. Do not dry them completely in the dryer. Try to get them out before they are completely dry. Wash lens clothes the same way, but dry them on a clean paper towel. Sean |

| MCB Member | On the field I use a spray bottle to remove paint and a costco yellow microfiber to dry. At home I use warm water under the sink not pushing high pressure and run it on the lense, being particularly careful of the thermal layer since they tend to fail. Shake a bit but careful of the thermal layer, and dry with microfiber. |
