On second thought, I might be able to get a two for one deal, like two sisters. But hey, if that's the case, the reality is that the two sisters usually come with a little brother, like extra baggage similar to the junky hopper that comes with a really cool paintmarker that you really can't use. Of course, I could always put girlly-girl clothing on him and sell him to one of you deviants or trade him/her/it straight for a crusty KP

Only one I found for more then $1000 was a Karta. I think you've got them confused with X-Mags.
guess i never really looked that hard for them

Ive owned many guns (Tiberius T9, Tippmann X7, Invert Mini and soo on) and I keep coming back to the same gun over and over. Id say A5 with E-grip, TechT Squishy Paddles, X7 Low-profile Hopper and a 14" J&J Ceramics barrel. That`s what I use for my basic tournament setup (I have a few other small things but nothing major), and I love it. Its light as can be and preforms VARY well for the $ I`ve put into it. Its also durable as hell and you dont have to worry about maintnance as much as you do with other guns.

The biggest selling point of my A5 is that it is reliable. I can speak from experience when I say that reliability is priceless! It majorly sucks when you show up to an Event and your gun isnt working. No matter how expensive your gun is, if it wont work its only worth the scrap its made up of. You could also spend the leftover $ on a cheap 98 or something to use in case of a malfunction. I would spend the rest of your $ on a Good mask (Profiler, Grill, Event, Flex) and then you could spend the other $ on buying whatever else you find useful. Hopefully this helps a bit....

Just an observation and a bit of longing for the old days of mcb. No need to call names, besides I am way too short for a troll. Prehaps a gnome maybe a half dwarf but not a troll.
