no it is all about the player. I shoot plenty of people with guns 4 or 5 times more expensive then my sniper all the time. Some people have more money then talent, but want to feel like all the rest.

I have a friend who delights in hunting electros with a $12 tigershark and telling them how much it cost. Of course he is not right in the head. Seriously though, do air Jordans make you a better basketball player? Does Underarmor make you a better Football player? Of course not. Those guys just play enough to feel the need for the more expensive gear. Just practice with people of similiar level and enjoy yourself.

No, especially with the used market we have today buying the newest most expensive marker of the year just means they don't have any sence.

Spelling "you" correctly will make you better... not any gun. It's all about the effort.

I love going out with my P68SC and out snap shooting the electro's. There is something to be said about simplicity as well. I have never had a break down on any of my phantoms, Sheridans, or my pro-carbine. All the while I am always fixing the egos, shockers, and electro gadgets.

I run into "I Paid $$$$$$$$ for this gun and its a piece of Junk!" alot when it comes down to simple maintenance. Clean you gear people!

but whatever floats you boat. It not about the gear (when your playing) its about having fun out on the field...... ( am all about my oldschool gear and having oldschool fun )

Who cares. If they are under 16 they can't possibly have been playing long enough to be "good". And if they are older than that, they are probably a bit smarter or more mature than to say that.

I'd say sort of, but not directly.

What about "expensive" guns like Palmer Nasty's & Buzzards?

No, it just makes their wallet lighter. Competence on the field can't be bought with $$$$.

But, you have to remember quality. The gun doesn't make the player, but if you buy a crappy $15 dollar brass eagle gun you are definitely going to be miserable compared to if you buy a good, solid, reliable gun.

In conclusion, expensive guns do not make you better, but a reliable gun will definitely help.
