Without the hopper you can snap over the bunker for a quick shot at them while they are looking at the sides.

Make sure you got a good paint to barrel match. One time I tried to bunker my friend with my micro phantom setup and while i was running out the paintrolled out and i shot nothing at him at point blank and then he tagged me out

pistol play

As with every gun it will have its strengths and weaknesses, you are going to want to learn to count your shots so you know where your drop off shots are going to be, for example my 007 was getting like 36 good shots at 230 fps. I know I am going to adjust the chrono but I forgot my spring kit at home and couldn't resist using it. I would get a pbmafia holster that is out of your way, you want to be able to move freely in every direction but also have spare 12s and 10 RT's if you need them. I give a big plus one to everything all these guys are saying however if you want to play pistol pump then I would start with an open class pump first, that was the easiest transition for me. It makes going to a pump pistol much easier.

also recall this pgp does not shoot well from far. so be trail and era on it for first few games you learn what range is best too. base on this. wind or no wind or rain or no rain. last but least will learn have to get closer more then often. so learn how to use bunkers too.

Depending on your loadout and how coordinated you are, practice practice practice shooting and reloading 1 handed with opposite hands, then do it while not looking, then do it while moving, and then do all of the above while dual-wielding. It takes practice (more fun in games unless you're getting shot out too quickly to make it practical) to get good at that stuff. Practice in the back yard or inside yelling "bang bang bang" with spent 12 grams. Reloading is when you're weakest, and shooting 1 handed takes a bit of getting used to if you're not a handgunner.

Learn the ultimate sayings of all pump players:

When shot out, say "Hey, I'm only using a pump"

When shooting someone out, say "Hey, I'm only using a pump!"
