I fixed it, just required some manpower.

I had a problem airing it up today, I put on my CO2 through the remote line, but it would not build up CO2. It just ran the CO2 through the gun and out the barrel, while freezing the CO2 tank to my hand. I think the CO2 was just low am I correct? It was pretty nice today mid 50's.

I think it is because my cocking rod is too far back and not catching the sear. But if I set it back, the rod will be too short and the bolt will be too far in the feedneck to feed. Suggestions appreciated.

The air went down the barrel probibly because you frogot to cock it first. As for the cocking rod/bolt problem are you just adjusting the cocking rod or have to tried moving the back block in or out a bit? Is it that if you have it set up so the bolt is just clear of the breach the cocking rod is to long and it doesn't pull back far enough to catch the sear and if it's set to catch the sear then the bolt doesn't clear? You might need to move the back block back a bit, or maybe you have the wrong size bolt?

take out the cocking rod and manually pull the back block back. Does the bolt clear the feed tube completely when doing this ? When you are setting the cocking rod length you only want the back block to come back another 1/8-1/4 of an inch after you hear the click of the sear catching the hammer.

It clears the feedtube when it first catches the sear. I can pull it another 1/8 inch out of site though past the sear point.

OK, one more time. Please see:
http://www.moodypaintball.com/pages/tech/index.htm

All the Autococker adjustment procedures you'll ever need...

Don't just go there and stare at the page. Follow the instructions there to make the necessary adjustments. If you're not comfortable doing that, then take it to someone who is. And you have to realize that that gun is not meant to be operated on unregulated CO2. Doing so is not going to produce optimal results and will lead to problems (like freezing the tank to your hand).

Thanks Wycke. Hopefully when I get my compressed air tank, it will be much better.

What should I do if gas is coming out the end of the barrel?

either your hammer is pushing the valve open (gassing it uncocked, epsecially with IVG cranked in far)) or you have a down barrel leak (cupseal, broken valve spring, loosened valve body, etc)
