| Rec Poster | Why? Because when they work properly (just takes someone who knows anything really) they work marvelously. Their generally quiet, efficient, accurate, and can be very fast when set up properly. Even mech cockers can reach startling speeds, plenty for any reasonable application. If you don't like to mess with your marker at all (you really only have to do it once) it's not the gun for you. But if your willing to put some time into it, perfection is not entirely out of the question. They also have tons of parts and upgrades, more barrels then anything else, and so many custom possibilities it's ridiculous. It is the perfect gun for tinkering, tuning, upgrading, and whenever your finally done with it, some serious field action. And to top it all off? A backblock is the coolest thing ever. Ever. -Omega Chief |

i myself being something of a cocker nut love the guns, but to finish fiddling with a cocker is to pump kit it ...

| Rec Poster | Hahah, your point is duly noted, and greatly appreciated. In fact, I have the same "problem" with tinkering. However, I have heard rumors of people who don't fiddle with their markers endlessly (!?!?!), and besides, I didn't want to scare the guy. It is indeed a never ending story.... But it's one unlike any other marker can provide. You just keep coming back for more to... -Omega Chief |

| Mm, I think that mags are making a bit of a resurgence in that department, if only due to the modifications coming from individual owners. The mag can have a walkable pneuframe with a mechanical anti-chop, is easily converted to EP with even an Ion board, or into an E-tripper with a Spyder frame. Plus, it can be a pump! I'm constantly tempted by mags, just because of the sheer tinker potential. |
