mailmanmike Since Monday! That's more than 4 hours though, so according to those cialis ads I should see my doctor.
tlane77 I think for a non-chemical chubby it's 6 hours before its time to see a doctor. So you should be good for another couple hours.
splattttttt I wasn't goin to google "chubbin" because I assumed it had to do with fat. The lard type, not the fun stuff. But what ever feelings Jeff's experiencing, then they must be of the fun like stuff...

Lot of good talk 'round the fire Sat. night. We at least got in some nice games on Sunday. As usual it was a great gathering.

Sorry I missed this one. I'm in the midst of a mid life crisis ATM. Long story short, I've moved out, and moved in with my brother. I WILL be attending ancientone's outlaw game next week, no matter what.

Dutch, I'll be in touch about the Nellie as soon as I get my finances straightened out. If you can't hold it, I completely understand, but current circumstances have left me a bit thin...

Many thanks to all who made the trip for the camp out, and to our 10th anniversary game. It was great to hang with such a great group of players!

Thankfully Mother Nature gave us a pass for the camp out, but not so for the game. As they say... a half day of paintball is better than none. For the most part the rain was pretty light, and had we played on, I doubt it would have affected us as the tree cover is pretty thick. By the time I left at 3pm, the rain had completely stopped. It was all good either way.

If anyone has any pics, please post them up - thanks!

A note about Strategy Plus and their fields...
First, the management made it clear that they wanted to renegotiate our deal with them. The bottom line is that they feel we're getting too big of a discount for the event with the camp out, BYOP and two judges, so we'll be looking at the price going up in 2013. We'll do our best to keep it as reasonable as possible. If we can't, then we'll search out another field who will work with us.

If we can work with Strategy, then we'll also spell out exactly how we want our games to be set up (which fields we want to use, specific play rules, number of refs, etc.) I'm sure it will all be good.

I'll create a new thread in this forum early in the new year letting everyone know what we've worked out.

Thanks again,
Slim

Well, cancel the two refs since we don't really need them. I mean this with all due respect, but they did more harm than good. Allowing walk ons on the field, not following up on all of the paint checks, etc.

I hope it will work itself out, but $25 is pretty fair considering some are driving 2+ hours to get there. Anymore than that and I think people will be turned off by it.

The field has to have refs on the field per insurance stipulations so that's non-negotiable. The main reason I want two refs on the field (with radios) is for two reasons - starting/stopping the games, and for safety (calling for help/assisting in case someone gets hurt). Other than that, hopefully they won't get in the way.

And yes, I'm hoping Strategy will be on board with $25 per player - which is still a pretty good deal for camping, and BYOP.

Sean I hope everything is ok and all is well. The Nellie can stay with me honestly and if at some point you want it, whenever that may be, just let me know and its yours. Bummed you weren't playing but I'll see you at the next TAC
