I'll be there. Mothers Day would be bad.

Thanks for looking at the date Slim. With my wife being a new mother I really don't think I could have made it to the 11th. I look forward to this as usual

Not going to CT for the game this year? Strategy Plus? What happened with that? Locking the gate & turning keys in? Yeah, not doing that. I'm in & out of my truck all night.

And as an FF, God/Satan forbid there is a medical emergency, how does that play out?

Regarding the locked gates and checking car keys...

As explained, the field owner is concerned about his own liability, and I think that's pretty understandable. People party at our camp outs, and when there is partying, there's potential for problems. While our group has proven to be responsible adults, the event is open to anyone. All it takes is one guy no one knows to do something stupid, and the field owner no longer has a field. Locking the gate to ensure no one is driving off when they shouldn't be isn't an unreasonable request considering the owners business is on the line. I can ask about the keys.

During an emergency, the owner said he, or one of his staff will be on hand to provide access to whatever emergency personnel are needed.

Regarding the change of venue...

Like I said on our Facebook page, I decided to change venues because I'm never sure if Strategy Plus will even be in business when we hold our games. Getting them to return a phone call is like pulling teeth. Combine that with the many issues we have had with the inexperienced and disinterested judges, and I felt it was time to check out some other fields.

Guys, I'm trying my best here to put together something that will work for both the field and the players. As far as the date... The only other Sunday that is open is the 4th, and as I mentioned, there are 2 other nearby pump events that day which may draw some of our usual players. I'm hoping anyone who is scheduled to work that day can find someone to cover for them if possible (personal day?). Sure would hate to see any of the usual crew miss this one.

Looking forward to playing with my Nelspot once again. Although god only knows I may just have to break down and buy a Phantom.

NO DRUGS
NO ALCOHOL

I saw this on their website...the 1st one is obvious but the 2nd? Is that in effect for us?

If you want help calling SP, I can help with that getting them to return a phone call.

I am hoping the alcohol thing is meant for business hours, while the playing fields are operating. No beer for the camp out, well that would not be fun. The other question is will they let us make a campfire? No fire, no beer will factor into consideration. Definitely still playing, but may alter Saturday plans.

If camping at the field is going to be an issue I may be able to offer an alternative. Let me speak with my wife first as well as Slim.
