Oct 25, Pasadena Paintball in Curtis Bay MD - Pump and Pistol
Some quick information. As the folks who normally run Pump It Up have decided to take a break, one of the local pump players has goaded me into helping organize this event. :)
The field is almost all woods and the field owner has offered us use of their castle/fort.
List of attendees as of Oct 5
- Netsurferdude + 4
- travis1581 + 2 or 3
Pump marker (The Ty definition)
- two distinct actions for firing. One to charge the marker and one to fire it.
- If the marker has an autotrigger, the pump stroke must be a minimum of 3/4"
Pistol (cribbed from BretG. Thanks for the rule :) )
- 10 round or less magazine
- No stock or mounted tank
- 12 gram or remote powered
- Must be able to be carried in a holster
Glad to see this:clapping: I have missed the pump it up games. Will definitely plan on being there. Thanks for putting this together Ty.
I am just the PR guy on this one... John, who is not a member here :( , is doing all the leg work.
If all goes well this event will become a twice annual thing... Once in the Fall and once in the Spring every year.
As soon as John nails down the particulars with the field, I will post them.
I dont live too far from Pasadena. Paintball in October? Im looking forward to the details!
Same here ;)
Unfortunately John, like the rest of us, has a job and a real life, so details will become available, as he gets time.
I'm in and I can probably bring 5 people along. I can probably equip them all.
We would love any and all pump and pistol players to join us.
Haha, wrong side of the country.
Saw the thread in the last post column on the main forum page and thought, "There's a paintball field in Pasadena, CA!?!"
Oh well, maybe someday.
I should be able to make it. I can bring out Jack, my Ripper, and will either pick up a pump kit for the Twister or the Westy. Not sure which yet. I'll also see if my little Stepbrother wants to come out. He's used to playing with an Ego, so this could be a fish-out-of-water experience for it.
I am thinking...
What do people think of a "best and worst" pump competition before people pay?
Winner of each category gets a 500 of paint.
