| Stolen Gear at Canobie Spring Shoot... Stuff to watch out for, I had a Game Face E-Rex Elite marker, and a freak kit stolen, minus the back and one tip. The Freak kit is distinctive because of the tip included, it's a freak front that was hacked off behind the porting to accomodate an Air America Intimidator loudener. Thankfully that was not stolen. The joke is on the guy though, the E-rex's bolt was stuck forward jammed with paint, could not be pulled back by hand, and the lower tube back-block including the spring, spring guide and the stopper pin was removed. |

| Sorry to hear that Murph. Good luck getting the stuff back. And yet another reason NOT to attend Canobie's Big Wipe Fes <ahem> Game.

| Yeah, sorry to hear about the theft. A lot of losers just go to rip people off. I watched an "Insurance Job" with the goobers parked next to me a few years back. Pukes called the cops and reported 2 expensive 'Cockers and tanks stolen from their Daddy's car. Dad's insurance will pay to replace the "Cockers-Pure genius. I thanked them for making my rates go up so they could upgrade from Model 98's for free. I then told the cop about their plan......................... |

| That place is the ghetto of all fields. I always kept what I didn't use in my cars trunk. I would purposely leave a bottle of Gatorade filled with urine unattended in hopes some looser was in a stealing mood. LOL!!! That's what I call "Bitter sweet revenge".

![]() What I can't figure out is how Paul & Co., who do a good job at AG in keeping the riff-raff to a minimum, can't keep as much control at Canobie? I hope the same crowd doesn't migrate north.

| Unfortunately with over 800 players running around, it becomes impossible to keep an eye on everyone. When you're in a crowd like that you just have to be really careful to keep control of your gear. We have been lucky enough so far that we haven't attracted any thieves to AG, but never ever leave your gear unattended. Sorry Murph |

| I've always loved the Canobie big games. The main complaints I usually heard was it tended to attract tournament teams, who went there with the wrong attitude. But thats always a problem at big events.

| Whenever we attend the "Big Games", we tend to keep an eye on the gear of the people around us. I would the honest people attending would do the same. I would not to hesitate to question someone if I thought they were inadvertantly grabbing the wrong gear. Seems to me the crowd is a little different at AG. The general feeling is more "woodsball", at least to me. Perhaps the crowd is a little older? Since AG is "out of the way", maybe the average attendee has a car, a job, more disposable income, and enough life experience to avoid that type of temptation? Jack,-- Remind me to never drink gatorade at your house..... Last edited by nhmercracer; 04-21-2008 at 12:48 PM. |
