OSC North East

Hello everyone, I am new to this forum and not very familiar with it. However, I know there are a lot of old school players on this forum and that pump is near and dear to many of you. This is why I am posting a thread to ask if anyone would be interested in playing in an Old School Series (OSC) event in the North East. Pump play is getting bigger and bigger, why let the West Coast guys have all the fun? Pump is some of the most challenging and fun type of paintball around. Who else on this forum agrees with me and would like to see an OSC here in the North East?

Good to hear. The main idea of this is to show that there is an interest on this side of the country so that I can talk to Kristen at OSC and show her that there is a need for one here too.

One point to point out we do not rely on AT's here in the east we use our field skills instead.

20 -30 for my mod stock games is quite common

I've noticed that too. This is where I came up with a different style of play. It works awesome with 1vs1 but I haven't tried it much with more players. Pretty much both sides have pumps. Each player has the same amount of paint. The game starts and one player shoots the other player. When you get out you run to the opposite side to start again, a ref will give you a few seconds to touch your gun to the cone (or whatever) and then you start again. Once one person is out of paint both sides are done and the person with paint left over gets another point. This way it emphasizes on two things, stamina and making good shots.

I just noticed this thread. It is a shame the poll is closed, because I would've voted yes as well. As a matter of fact, when I found out about the OSC playing w/ NPPL this season, I sent an e-mail to Kristen to ask about getting games out here other than just the Buffalo event. If anyone hears of any further info, please post it up!

I spoke with kristen at buffalo... and I voiced my opinions on running an OSC in this area... I mentioned TopGun to her, as well as strategy plus and matts outback (since they all have the room to do this and are decent fields)

she said, if there is interest, she will come here with 0 issues.

That is awesome. I'm right next to you Noely. Let's see who else we can get on board. What do you think, should we get a petition going? Write a senator? Take hostages? Okay, maybe the hostages is a bit much...but let's see what we can do here. There are enough of us on the east coast, we have to make something happen, right?

I got it, I will go to "the forum without a name" and tell them that team HK will be there, and bestow a set of their signed, sweaty, argyle patterned "Agg" slide shorts to the winners. Attendance won't be a problem.
