Oh well.... And the new management is NOT me...
We took that down because Cynthia wanted to approve every post made and it was just too much work when folks posted, and when no one posted it just sat there.

As for new management… I think that is a good idea. Maybe Cynthia will just be the owner and enjoy life while not actually getting personally involved with the field? I think her stress level will improve greatly as well as that of the customers and employees. I see this as a potential huge win for everyone if it is true.

I wonder who she will get to run the place though.

Might help business a bit/alot.
Last time I was there, I was surprized at how few showed up. It's a nice fiel, with plenty potential.

Does anyone here have any dirt? Just curious what to believe...
Just feeding the rumour mill with some more dirt...

I've been told by several field/store owners in NH that Adventure Games has been purchased by Canobie Paintball.

Apparently Paul is losing his lease and needs a new field. Cynthia must have decided it was time to move on. I'm just curious, if she is going to remain landowner and lease it to them or if it was sold outright.

But if true, imagine the possibilities.

Very interesting indeed. I may have to look into this. But chances are Cynthia is off on vacation right now anyways.... or soon to be.

It is true that the rumors of buyout prices and such were not quite accurate, but I am not sure that Tom still owned the property, at least not in full. I have not gotten down to brass tacks with Cynthia about it, but we did discuss it in passing a few years ago. Cynthia found it all amusing but did not go into all the details, nor did I push the issue.

Like I said, I may have to look into this more, if only to confirm or put to rest the rumors.

Oh... and welcome to the forums!

Yeah, I've also heard that Tom still owned the land, and Cynthia was paying him. But I've never determined if that was true either.

It sure is fun trying to figure it out when none of the direct parties will discuss it though.

If they were bought by Canobie I will not be returning. I've had 2 bad experiences with the refs at canobie. Not dealing with a place that uses sponsor brats as refs instead of professional refs.

I have to agree that the reffing quality at Canobie is what keeps me away from there now.

They will also probably clear some land to put up inflatables. Does this mean that we could have an NEPL event in Weare?

I'm getting pretty disappointed. Weare was a in a good location for a lot of Southern NH. I took a trip to OSG today to play and it was a longer drive than I remembered. And to top it off, only about 8 people showed up.
