Did you know that High Defiance was also a band from Boston? They recorded this EP in Somerville if I'm not mistaken:

Well, I will be his friend; I have saved him, and it draweth me strongly to him; already I love the bold-tongued little rascal. Well the first practice I think went well, we kept getting mixed in with other groups but we got some serious playtime in. I had a ball playing with Carter, Chaos, Dave, Nick and ChaplainBain, as well as all the pumpers who showed up today. And since I had pants with built in knee pads my knees aren't killing me for once (BPS turf is thin carpeting on top of concrete. Horrible for front players.) I wish MY Ion and cocker were working but they didn't work. I chalk the Ion's nonfunctionality to the EMR curse, I bought both the trigger frame and board there. The cocker just needs to be retimed. It might even be that the LPR was too low.

The only really memorable game was the first one where I played rear, off the break I headed for a corner can bunker as 2 guys moved up into the 20-30 bunkers to go into the snake, and they were elminated in short order. I made a 'dive' into the snake (I really just fell flat on my face and lost my phantom's feed tube, winding myself.) crawled up as soon as I recovered and nailed their entire right-side of the field. Our left guys pushed up and cleared the rest.

It was a great time. Practicing at BPS makes sense (Wednesdays are experienced player nights and Sunday nights are team nights).

Also, I spoke with the guys at BPS, and they know of a clinic that the Hurricanes will be running in the spring out at Maynard. I think that would be a worthy event.

Had a great time, kneepads saved me too. My feet are sore from walking/running on concrete all day. My first speedball experience, as well as my first indoor game. Would have enjoyed it lots more if the games were a little smaller. That field really should be 7 on 7 max. Some of those games were 18 on 19.

The 18 on 19 games were their own unique kind of fun. I really love having my mask in the carpet the whole time

My name is Arthur and I was wearing the Army long sleeve. I came out more to see how the others played rather than a 'practice.'

I use regular Adidas kneepads under the Dye Hybrid pants. The pants are easily replaceable at about $25, and i reuse the kneepads for BDU/camo in the summer.

Also, every year I pick up a new set of cleats for outdoor. This year I also got turf cleats for the indoor fields, which made a huge difference. I am mid-field (insert) player, and I could easily hit the 50 today off the break.

What I need is a practice jersey and elbow pads.

Looks like I know what my next gun purchase will be, I'm gonna break down and get me one of them electro-whiz-banger space guns.

I'll second the need for playing with a cup in that enviroment. I have a welt in a very bad place.

That's where the team name came from in the first place actually.Me and my former Team Co-Captain saw them in concert at the Mass MetalFest in 1994 and we were instantly fans so because of this we adopted their name for the team..

Today was great guys,I was really surprised to see just how well we worked together considering most of you hadn't really played that style much if at all.All we need to do is decide on Uniforms, learn the terms used to describe the bunkers, and work on our communication.

For whatever reason one of my tryouts never showed up,oh well sorry to say you lost your chance as the slots are pretty much filled now.
Official Team Roster at this time are:
Carter (Team Co-Captain)
Murph
Spazdoc
Ndupuis06
and Myself

Alternates at the moment are:
ChaplainBane
Dave Cameron
Rothstein
Jaan
Reaper07

I'll be getting another gathering probably in a couple weeks at the same location, just need to work out a schedule.

On another note, the Dangerous Power Fusion I just bought has turned out to be an absolutely amazing gun for $400,I'll do a full review soon.
