Are the wood grips out of the picture? I like the angle of the frame and always wonder what something like the old SP wood grips would feel like.

Found some time to work on the grips today. Here's a couple of pictures of the work and the grips. Roughing the grips in with some rasp work ![]() Where they stand now--They're sanded but only roughly. I'm waiting to do the final sanding until I do a tiny bit more reshaping. ![]() The grips are a bit thicker than the stock grips which is really nice since the stock ones are skinny. I have larger hands so the grips feel great. They make the gun easier and more comfortable to handle. ![]() I think they look pretty good so far. I'm looking forward to finishing them! |

I've decided that I'm definitely satin powder coating it now. Not sure the stain color for the grips yet. Sadly this project is going to go on hiatus for a little while since I'm back at college. No updates for awhile but when I get back I'll powdercoat everything and reassemble. Then I'll stain and finish the grips to complete the gun. So sorry I couldn't have it finished quickly and posted but this project will get finished in the next few months.
