If it is designed like a raptor dry firing it will mushroom the front of the valve and cause the pin to stick. I had to fix one for a friend that had done that. Avery |

| Endearingly quirky | Yes these are set up the same way. If you dry-fire it, it'll cause the valve pin to sieze.

| Endearingly quirky | Remove the bolt & hammer, and stick a pencil/dowel/long thingy down the lower tube and try and push the valve open. If it won't go, it's siezed. If that's the case, remove the gripframe, remove the valve grub screw, then open up the front valve chamber, remove the spring, and push the valve out the front with aforementioned long thingy. Push the pin out somehow (probably with a hammer and skinny punch), then with a small rat-tail file or a drill bit slightly larger than the bore the pin rides in, chamfer the front of the hole to remove the mushroom/burr that's siezed the valve pin. Reassemble, then with a scratch-awl, write on the side 'DO NOT DRY-FIRE DAMN IT'.

But what can you expect out of a 1.00 white box keyboard from office max. The good news is the valve isn't stuck so we can rule this out. Man I really need to get my tanks filled.
