lapco sear not disengaging

got my lapco internal set from bacci for a nelspot, put it tog, oiled it, and seems the sear wont disengage from the bolt,.,..... do i grind it a little bit so that it can disengage smoothly? i tried it with 3 diff nelson frames with same results...this is most interesting

i compared the sears. theyre basically the same between the nelspot originals and the lapco unit, BUT the lapco's angle is greater than the nelspot. however....i swapped the sears around to see if it improves....nope. this leads me to think maybe its the striker itself? its getting frustrating when i know the nelson sear works with the original nelson hammers but the lapco unit wont work with either original sear or nelson sear. argh.

Question hmmm...

do you have set screws on the side that holds the valve body in place? They may be too tight causing the body to sit higher from the valve and a hair too high for the trigger to hit the sear completely.

Or the spring is faaar to heavy or the velocity is truned up too high.

If the velocity adjuster is cranked in all the way then the sear/bolt/hammer will stick until you use gorilla strength to squeeze the unit together and then disengage the sear.

IT HAS BEEN FIXED with a new sear from American paintball!
and binky, i used the lightest possible spring with the adjuster screwed all the way OUT, so there wouldnt be any gorilla strength needed for it lol
