| Rec Poster Join Date: Apr 2006 | Hmm... Check for the obvious stuff like kinked hoses. You say the bolt moves a little forward then stops so it seems as though the hoses are all at least ON right. Conversely, if the bolt at least tries to move forward it probably isn't the trigger mech. Don't know for sure of course but I would bet that the hammer sear pin has backed out a little and is dragging on the inside of the receiver. The only way to tell is to gut the thing and take a peek. Not too hard but it can be a little intimidating if you've never done it before. I would also remove the bolt slider and pin and try firing it that way to make sure there is nothing binding. The upper shroud screws can sometimes be overtightened and stick into the bolt slider notch... JB |

| MCB Member | No it was Dylans! Which he promptly sold, slowing our beer consumption during the repair process! Next time the owner must pour beer for us. New rule. Also I'd pull the LPR output hose the the 4way to check flow before delving into a possibly perfectly fine annoying brass line. |

| Je suis un mod! Join Date: Mar 2006 Location: Dirty South | Update: I have done nothing to it except gas it up again (last time was a VERY low tank). What has happened? Well, it fired for a bit, but it's leaking internally somewhere, but I don't know where. It's in the main body somewhere. So it fired, but leaked. Then I shot it a bit, hoping it would go away. I guess I pulled the trigger too fast, and it go into the stuck mode again. ??? -andrew |

| Pump Gun Dealer | Have you taken the shroud off and used soapy water to check the connections on all the LPR hoses ? Or is the leak definitely coming from inside the body ? Try firing it with the shroud off too just to make sure it isn't the shroud screws blocking the slider path. |

| Je suis un mod! Join Date: Mar 2006 Location: Dirty South | PP As I said, it's in the body. I haven't had the shroud on for a while...everything's fine under there. It's in the body somewhere that the leaking is occuring. I'm about ready to just send this thing off for a repair. Anybody know someone particularly familiar with Vectors? -andrew |
