| Rec Poster | 3357 problems Well.. I'm kinda depressed. A guy offered to fix the latch on my 3357 but since it took forever I decided to take it back, only to find that it was in worse condition So now, the cylinder doesnt revolve properly in addition to the latch. I cock it but it only occationally turns. Haven't gased it up since I left it with him. Just hoping that it wasnt used for spare parts How do I fix the problem with the cylinder? The trigger/hammer seems to be working properly but there seems to be something loose on the inside

See that big black piece surronding the air escape hole, on the other side theres a plastic spring like clip that applies pressure to the finger that rotates the cyliner. $20 says that broken.

| Active Member | I too got my paws on a 3357. Mine I built from a pile of parts for 50 bucks with 2 speed loaders. When it was all said and done I was missing my rubber block that goes under the hinge latch. I folded over some rubber sheet and jammed it in. Works somewhat but my latch dosent seem to catch that well and the weight of the barrel keeps popping my marker open on me. Kinda inconvenient But I think even if I got a replacement rubber block it seems like the catch isent secure enough. Any mods you can think of to make it more secure? |

| MCB Member | ![]() on the left is an original 3357, and on the right is a new 357 converted to 3357 The blue arrow/outline points to the cam arm that rotates the cylinder. Maker sure the tab is in the whole in the leverage arm. When taking it apart becareful of the seals at the ends of the brass seal. One if my guns does not seal since the brass tube pulled away from the valve. As far as the latch problem is concerned, there is a rubber bumber between the latch and the valve. I had taking a small piece of rubber tubbing and cut it small enough to wedge between the latch and bumber to hold the latch in place. Worked great.
