Anything and everything from cinder blocks, tires, old trucks, wood slabs from the first cut of a log, barrels and any wood we can find from old construction sights that will be going to the dump. we took an old wood bleacher and made it into a small fort.

He nick named the gun Reggie.

our local field was vandalized by local errr... local vandals

and strong wind

as you can see we used a lot of tires, planks and palets.

I think we're going to screw tires together into piles this spring.

You have to love local loser's. There is a great way to fix that. lock them in a cage. NO not jail but a real cage in jail.

it's time to go for heavier bunkers.

the usual field i play at uses old tractor tires for an entire field. they work fairly well, but keep in mind the amount of water that will get trapped in them (and attract mosquitoes, etc).

These were all free from a local trucking company. They are the wind deflectors that go over the cab of transfer trucks. The only drawbacks are that they catch the wind and give new players a place to hole up.

We are going to be using a road fabric this year. Basically it is a woven plastic sheet. Zip tie to some rebar or pvc piping and we are ready to go . Instant bunkers that are very portable and rearrangeable. Much easier to set up than the plastic culverts we were using and MUCH cheaper as well.

After the first game, the road fabric works wonders! I will take some pics of it next time I run out there.

I'm having a tough time imagining this material, but since it sounds like it works I'd be curious to see it. Portable solutions would be nice for figuring out what new bunker locations would work best when we do a cleanup at my local renegade.
