Actually the information is not correct. The event is called the "Challenge" for a reason. The event is actually as follows as per the link from the actual Tippmann website promoting one venue :

That is a different game, they have had that one for a while.
This is actually a tournament.

To be quite honest, I wouldn't worry so much about the E-Gripped Tippies. The most they can get is WAS'd or APE'd. I'd worry about the Matrix etc. boarded E-Bolted Tippies. They can sling just as much paint as any gun out there...

My mechanical bolt WAS Tippmann will do 22bps. I have video and sound bite to back that up.

So sorry but ones with an e-bolt are not the only ones I'd worry about.

I'm sure you could get the E-Grip up to 40cps using a Morlock. The cycle runs at 1/40th a second.
Add an ACE, and a siphon, and the field will disappear in front of your own eyes.....
