Tippmann's $50,000 Cup, with a catch :)

Tippmann announced that this June will feature a Tippmann Cup in NY. It's a 7 man tournament featuring all the major aspects of paintball: Woodsball, Airball, and Hyperball. The winning team takes home 21k!

Here's the catch: You have to use a Tippmann marker. No other markers will be allowed.

I think it's really cool that a decently large prize is being put out on a blowback (or pump too I guess) only tournament. I would love to see a team all using F/As, SMGs, or SLs. I like how they are at least sort of levelling the playing field, hopefully there will be more action and excitement by requiring more focus on skill. The all-encompassing part is cool too.

Hmmmm... I suppose I could unearth my behemoth model 98c.Would certainly give me a good reason to shoot it again. And NY isn't far for me so I could make the trip.Shoot some paint...maybe make some money in the process...count me in!

Oh forgot to mention, it's the 15-17 IIRC, at Cousins Paintball, Plattekill NY...

I am willing to bet that Tippmann Effect will be there with there modified a5's and 98's because they play out of Rochester, NY. I would like to play it if it was non e-gripped tippmanns.
