so my cheap reballs are gone forever.. there has to be another plant for that stuff somewhere with how much they put in walmart stores every year im guessing that this was the least producing plant so they closed it in order to sell the building and make a profit

For Red Dawn they offered two grades of paint, Premium and Marballizer. For D-Day it looks to be the same plan too, except with BT Munitions/Marballizer (from global's post at the top here BIGGEST SURPRISE ANNOUNCEMENT in D-Day History! - Page 6 - D-Day Adventure Park Forums).

I know a lot of players ran into issues with the BE paint at D-Day. Primarily it dimpling from the humidity. For me personally, I liked the orange fill we shot from 2007 that came from Draxxus. I don't remember having any issues with the quality of that paint. With that said, I'm sorry to hear about more lost jobs.

The peanut gallery on PBN is saying that this is the result of Wal-Mart ending their distribution agreement with Jarden/JT/BE. If so, this has wider implications for paintball at large. Say what you want about the quality of the products, but I think that Wal-Mart's carrying cheap paintball guns, even just displaying them, has been an invaluable factor in the growth of paintball over the last decade. If they are to stop carrying them the sport is going to be loosing one of its major avenues for introducing new players.

While I am sure that many would like to claim credit for the explosive growth of paintball, no single event created more growth than Wal-mart picking up the Brass Eagle line. I am curious to see what effect their departure from Wal-mart has on the industry, if any. I would be very surprised if JT Sports survives it though.
