I had no clue that BE paint manufacturing place was is in Neosho, it's random place I've been to before. Sucks about the loss of jobs for the region. But at least the paint quality was poor at the best of times...

does that mean the half case of monsterballs in my bedroom will start gaining value? Joking aside, this might put strain on the outlaw ballers that depend on super cheap paint.

More of the Corporate Cutthroats at work. When they own everything, their competition won't hurt them if they cut costs and manufacturing. So what if 60 families won't be provided for, it costs them less in insurance. Just adds more sad statistics to the current (and rather large) unemployment rate in southwest Missouri. Yee ha.

Neosho is about 10 minutes from the Oklahoma D-Day field, both sitting on the Missouri-Oklahoma border. I'm not sure why anybody else would visit Neosho because there's nothing there. I almost toured the plant this past summer and was hoping I could this upcoming summer. Oh well

Does anybody else find it weird the Chicago Tribune wrote about this? Out of all the news going on.. they cover the closing of a small plant that loses only 60 jobs? That's obviously not good for those 60 families but for only losing 60 people I'm surprised it made news.

I saw the article two days ago in a Joplin newspaper and posted in on Axiscommand.org. To the credit of the local Chamber of Commerce, it sounds like they will put out serious efforts to find jobs for the displaced workers.
