Exactly.

Unlike Tippmann, SP previously made (from raw materials) nearly everything in the states.

From now on it will likely be all made in India.

I havent heard that. I dont think they are going overseas... they would lose money since they bought all those CNC machines

What do you mean, unlike Tippmann?

Tippmann makes all of the Tippmann branded guns in the US. Only the US Army crap is made elsewhere. The Wal-Mart version of the 98 used to be made in Taiwan, but /only/ the Wal-Mart version.

not only did SP do most of there stuff in house, they also did quite a few other paintball companies stuff on there machines.

They've produced stuff here for a long time.

That's why it was so much of a big deal when they outsourced the Ion bodies, it was one of the first and only products they produced overseas because the plastic bodies were more effectively produced in China. That's common with plastics.

The Ion Bodies and the boards at first. They were in the process of bringing back all the boards to be made here in the states.

And cp is right with Smart Parts making stuff for other companies, you would be surprised in what they made in the factory.
