Prove it? I saw it with my own eyes. Are you calling me a liar now?

What are we proving here? That SP did not farm out parts? How would you be able to prove a negative with personal observation?

What did you see? Every frame ever produced by SP?

They push parts overseas the same as everyone else. I understand supporting a sponsor but to say otherwise is just playing fanboy. Do they make their boards in house? Screws? Detents? I don't care how many barrels or bodies they make in their machines their stuff isn't made completely in house.

It's no secret about the QC issues either especially with certain recent markers that were pushed over. '09 Impulse anyone?

Prove Tippmann farms most of their stuff out? (their = ownership)

What percentage of a paintball manufacturer's income is marker sales? I would guess they're likely to make more on high-profit high-volume stuff like accessories (Tippmann) and apparel (SP). Neither are made in the USA. (they're = they are)

If the goal is efficient communication, there should be some effort put forth to communicate efficiently. (there = state of being)

I know that SP did make them at one point.

We actually bought the last couple hundred Lucky 15s in Impulse thread that they had. They were still manufacturing them for another distributor who didn't commit to them. They replaced the jewel, shipped in blank packaging and we moved them in Ion gun packages under our banner.

Just In case:

I hope, for the sake of all the people that have purchased SP products, that they are able to reopen soon. If not, paintball will (as a whole) will get a bad wrap as being an untrustworthy sport. That is in no way saying that SP is or is not a great company. I just don't want to see little kids who saved up for months to buy an Ion, only to resent the sport because they can't even get their marker fixed.

That being said, I hope that SP dials back on the lawsuits, if they do indeed come back. The paintball industry is not a zero sum game. Gaining dominate comes at too high a cost. Furthermore, if too many companies fail (even crappy ones ... ), the game could revert back to garage tinkering. And I for one like some of the modern paintball advances like, good masks, HPA, velocity adjustment, and chronographs.

I saw the machines that made the bodies, the breaches, basically everything and anything that made up the gun. Did I see every frame? No of course not.

Now I am a fanboy? I already said they were in the process of bringing the board production back to the states. Now we are going to nitpick as fas as screws go? Like really here?

To be perfectly honest, you people believe what you want. This is the last I am speaking on the matter.
