ouch that sucks. Sad to see one of the most well known teams go down. Hopefully this isn't a sign of the times or of things to come and hopefully we won't see even more major pro division teams pack up

I always thought it was funny that the cheatingest team in pro paintball was the Smart Parts factory team. Made up of all Smart Parts owners and mouthpieces. These guys would wipe when they were scrimmaging against walk-ons, back in the day. They introduced "Turbo" mode into paintball as a cheat mode to get around the one-shot only rules. It goes to show that how you conduct yourself on the field directly relates to what kind of person you are in your business and private life. It's good to see that what goes around is finally coming around.

| Inch of Gold | I would expect if you have a SP sponsorship it will disappear within the year.

Since Smart Parts would 'sponsor' any five guys with a credit card who walked in the door or emailed, I figure that this is likely to eliminate about half of the sponsorships in Paintball. If by 'sponsorship' you mean that they got their stuff at a bit above wholesale. To which I say.. Good. That whole mess had gone on too far, and has been for many years one of the biggest problems in both tournament and scenario paintball. Hopefully sponsorships will get so damn rare that people will start playing for fun again, and quit thinking they're owed something.
