Also. Tiberius is just trying to re-coup lost profits....while they sent out a deal to the Police Depts., probably to try to garner a larger portion of the thousands of depts. across the country. What they are now trying to do is protect there arses....and make more money by selling you a $239 gun....

I am calling "sales and marketing" shenanigans on this one....
I believe 'clips' actually clip ammunition together, whereas 'magazines' internally store them. I don't think the direction in which the are loaded has anything to do with the naming convention.

For example, the Owen SMG goes down into the top:

i think i'm screwed...
The gun is physically capable of firing any .68 caliber projectile be it a paintball, PAVA round, or round piece of balsa wood. The pneumatics were sized to fire heavier rounds in LEO/defense situations (where "safe velocity" isn't particularly an issue), and as such may be unsafe firing lighter paintballs without violating ASTM standards for paintball.

You're not "screwed", however if Tiberius elects to make a blanket press release to paintball fields that SA-8s are not safe and not to be used for paintball, you may not be allowed to use the marker at your local field. You can always sell it to someone who can, use it for it's intended purpose (load it with PAVA to shoot burglars or bears or whathaveyou), or try to return it to Pepperball for a refund.

I've already sent an email to Eric with a similar idea.

I would like to know where the $100 gift certificate would be honored.

Heck, include a "real" trigger spring in the kit and SA-8 owners will jump for it.

Wait, so you bought a weapon for off label use (involving shooting at other people) and are now upset that the manufacturer is publicly stating that using a WEAPON for off label use might not be a great idea?

You wanted something, you tried to find a way to get it without paying full price, and you have brought suffering on yourself? I'm sure there is a lesson in there somewhere.

Question?

Would you be willing to take back modified Markers? I figure the answer is no but there are people out there that might regret there decision?

Also I bought both of mine with the intention of;

1. extra Mag's, as this alone was a great excuse to acquire 4 new mags myself
2. I'm a tinkerer; This is just a way to test anything with out ruining 1 new marker i have 2 to play around with.
3. An after affect of using this, i would greatly consider purchasing more Tiberius products in the future.

Ok so you are telling me they didnt see MCB or Sales activity for an entire month and now afa full month of sales they pull the safety card? Hello wasnt the T4 a Mil-Spec weapon "CONVERTED" to "SAFE" First Strike rounds that are allowed on every field across the country?

IMHO they are doing the right thing but on this one I call ........ All this will do in cause paranoia in local field owners.

BTW Love the T4 and everything else they make, good company
