Just out of curiosity, what parameters will you be editing?

well, the only one that I would be touching is my rate of fire or firing mode. Most of the time I keep my marker under 10.5 BPS semi but if I am allowed to use another fire or a higher rate of fire.
i don't really touch my debounce or my trigger settings since once i find where the trigger works for me.
I can see how people will abuse the fact that they can adjust the settings on the board after they have made it "tourney legal"

I wonder how many of the haters here have bought really expensive cockers, angels, shockers, and timmys in the past that now go for the price of a used tippmann a5? Back when 1k $ was worth twice as much as it is now. Paintballers in general are dumb as a bag of rocks, thats what sets the value of used markers, not pe taking advantage of said idiots. At least they provide an awesome performing product. Thats all I care about. Not worried about the value of my ego, didn't buy it to sell it. And I wouldn't sell it for what they sell for on pbn or ebay etc. Cause mine aint been beat to crap and unmaintained and agg parts swapped like the crap idiots try to sell these days as lnib.

/PE fanboy rant.

no, because even classic timmies are still worth more than a used a5.

/BL fanboy rebuttal

Didn't people do that with the Emags and Xmags with that one mod?

Dbags are Dbags, regardless of age or timeframe.

did they? i wouldn't think that's the best way to show off an emag.

if i had one i'd scream in the middle of a game "i'm out of batts! oh wait i don't need one!" and switch to mech mode.

Agreed; I purchased my Ego9 new last summer and just recently surpassed 4000 shots on the counter - the marker is in immaculate condition, totally stock; I knew then that the value would drop, but I wanted a new marker - something untouched and unmolested (indeed, something that I hadn't molested). I wasn't thinking about resale value... in my opinion, if you're contemplating buying something that expensive, you should plan on haning on to it for a while.
