Where the hell do you get .690 ultra evil on this rock?
Never even seen it for sale here - let alone that big in bore!

Beats me, most the paint I've been shooting at fields in NY, and EMR in PA, have been .684 -.688 I haven't come across any of these seriously tiny bores people keep talking about.

nope. control bore length is related to efficiency. We're working on a set of multi-length single piece barrels to find what that is. It should be a bit different for each gun - based on breech pressure. And the smaller the underbore the shorter it should be - however, in all of our testing no matter what size the bore a 12-14" barrel was the most efficient. We know that the ball is still accelerating in the tip of a two piece system - meaning that even 6" of control bore isn't enough - even on high pressure guns shooting extreme underbore.

he lightly molests them until they swell.

Same place everyone else does ...
Frank's! But there is no real control over the size of course, this batch just happens to be big.

Hey here's an idea for Punkworks, can you guys get your hands on 7-8 Python or Techt Autococker threaded kits? My thought is this: Using the same insert size in all of them, chrono a gun using 1 kit on the gun. Then screw in another kit on the front and rechrono. Then screw on a 3rd and rechrono. Keep doing that until you start to see a reduction in velocity, wouldn't that give you a ballpark indicator of the optimum control bore length (before velocity starts to drop off)? And you could repeat with different bore sizes/paint sizes.

The Python kits do work like that right ? AC thread to AC threading should work no problem...and I don't see a gap between the inserts and the front barrel of mine.

the indoor place we started to practice at, i was using my .682 insert, and that wasn't underboring it. it was enough to hold most of the paintballs without them rolling out. besides not using my .679 insert, at least the paintballs were not egg shaped.

Agreed on both accounts. The owner is good people.

Quoted from patent application:

If your barrel sucks, then you are only pretending to be a SNIPER advertisement, unknown magazine and date.

Snipers go agg, and they aren't good at it.
