Meh. After shipping, that $50 is more like $30. I'll just keep my SA-8.

I'll keep mine too. I'm done with this whole affair. This whole debacle has left a sour taste in my mouth. I doubt I'll ever even look at another Tiberius product again.

I'm sure many of us will keep them, no one is twisting your arm to turn it in it's simply a personal decision as are most things in life.

No need to take it out on Tib, I'm sure many would never have paid retail for a T8 without this offer. Personally, I will buy a T8. I now know it is a solid and (somewhat) reliable mag fed pistol.

It fits the bill for my sidearm needs. The 4 mags, Wall hanger SA8, and extra parts SA8 are just an added bonus.

$50 for just the gun is a decent offer. but I still want to know if we can turn in guns that have been stripped and painted?

Now that I've had some time to organize my thoughts a bit, here's what doesn't sit well with me and this offer. Keep in mind a 3rd party bought these guns. Tiberius has already made a profit on them once.

The spokesperson for the company has stated, and I quote; "...Pepperball...have chosen to sell these products at a huge loss..."

That pretty much states that the wholesale price of these guns is much more than what paintballers have paid for them. I don't doubt it, I can't imagine the wholesale price of a $200 gun is $50.

They're giving people who send the guns to them a $50 gift certificate, which will buy them stuff at retail prices that costs the company less than $50. Let's say $30 actual cost.

They're getting guns they already made a profit on. Most will be in new or like new condition.

I really don't think they're going to destroy them. Even if they sell these guns as refurbished guns, they'll still make a profit on guns they bought for $30.

Hurumph.

Confirmation that the Automag has an overpressure relief... read the manuals (LOL). Quote: "Air venting out the back of the Regulator Nut shows that the internal Blow Off Valve is venting an overpressure in the system."

Good to see TA moving faster then a Toyota to address the potential for harm. Hat is off to them.

Thanks for coming back and clearing up the issues, for reconsidering the certificate offer, and especially for continuing to care about your customers and the safety and prosperity of the sport, . If markers that have been stripped of powdercoat are accepted, I'll be turning mine in.

Thanks for the Generous offer Eric and Tiberius. It is after all nice to see that you guys are trying to help fellow Paintballers.

While I agree, 90% of the people who bought these should use this offer and get a real T8. That way some kid doesn't buy it and thinks that it will be perfectly fine at 280 FPS and not realize that it can spike to 340+ FPS.

Now are you guys going to condemn the 10% of us that enjoy tinkering with technology and try to make these LTL launchers more consistent and paintball safe? If yes, are you going to condemn the rest of the paintball world that modifies their markers?
