this sounds like a much better deal to me. Who do we contact if we would like to take advantage of this exchange program?

Personally, I plan to buy from Tiberius in the future based on the way they held true to there convictions. Good on you Eric, keep to the small(er) but strong following & keep your integrity! As always, buyer beware & there is no crying in paintball.

well, who ever bought these things made a stupid mistake(myself included) and Tiberius has done more than necessary to fix this. i thought this my be liability bull$h!t, until Eric even explained throughly and simply why these are not safe. too bad all they can give is store credit for those of us who can't afford a TAC8, but thats simply not Tiberius' fault, its our's. wait, do you offer Tac8s from your store still? not Tac8.1s, maybe cheaper, refurbished Tac8s? i know, asking about cheap pistols has not gone well for me, but its worth a shot! |

I just wanted to announce that my SA-8 arrived just 20min ago. I'm excited. Not to be used for paintball.....but it makes me want a T8.1.....just wish it had smaller grips....

I will give credit to Tiberius for what they are doing now with the 50.00 gun only gift certificate...That is a Stand-up move and obviously proves to me that this is truly a safety issue only on the SA-8 markers and anybody planning on using these on the field please don't and take this generous offer from Tiberius as long as they don't jack up the prices on this price list that is soon to be released...I can and will once again say I am proud to own A TIBERIUS..But I will also opt not to send mine in as the bolt and spring from the SA-8 fit nice in my T-8 and after I order my new Lapco First Strike barrel for my T-9...I will have a T-9 and T-8 that are First Strike Ready basically for free and all the spare parts all for the price of two mags....

Phenomenal response Eric. This situation could have been literally a PR disaster for Tiberius, but instead, Tiberius ate the profit that could have been made, and made it extremely plausible for players to trade in their launchers rather than the whole package for a great return. In all honesty, you have turned this PR disaster into a boon for your company. I know myself, and others I have talked to locally, have agreed that this makes us see Tiberius as an even better company than before. Hats off to you and your staff. |
