Sonny from LA Hitmen said he barely squeaked one squad in. (dont see it on the list though)

Mike from Hitmen also said that alot of the teams got locked out and now, cant play unless a team drops and they are next on the list.

No GAT, Hard8/Flipped Out, Check-It, etc.........

I think what happened was when Sonny from the Hitman spoke his piece about how pump was being represented in the league, and that made alot of teams think twice about actually playing this event, esp when the WCPPL and the OSC series being so available. However by the time Chuck Hendsch resolved some of the issues the pump community had with the way the pump division was ran, some of the smaller organizations/ team jumped at the opportunity to get a spot.

Regardless this is shaping up to be a great weekend and i think we all have to thank Sonny Lopez and the other teams that "stood up" to the league and not only got some changes made, but demanded we got the professional respect that the other divisions already had.

I think its capped at 18 because the rubber duckies took the 17th spot. and Hitmen the 18th

they honestly just dont care. pump play in "the league's" is a sideshow to them regardless of how many teams want to play. the major sponsor's dont like us because we dont spend the insane amount's of money that the semi guy's do.

If you guy's want pure competition, fun and your hard earned dollars to be well spent. fly out here and experience an OSC event and meet family you didnt know you had. same hardcore team's like the hitmen, run by someone who just love's pump play for what it is.

We also have all of that here in the Midwest as well. Itd be nice to see some more Westcoast/Eastcoast teams headed our way a time or two. This year, I will endure on my 6th trip to California for some paintball..........

There is an OSC St. Louis event if I do remember correctly........oh yeah, I play it every year.

Amazing when division 4 has 6 teams, and pump has 18. Needs to be more press about THAT!!! It says volumes about the sport to me.
Exactly what I was thinking. If you look in Facefull Magazine, D4 has only outsold the Pump division for 1 event (as a matter of fact the pump division has tied or beaten the entries for D3 7 man at most events last season), this to me says a lot about paintball in general.

It is interesting to me the general paintball media has gone a long way to ignore that there is a pump division at all, I know most of their advertisers don't sell pump gear, But pretending that we don't exist, pretending that pump is not growing is short sided and foolish on their part.

For me it has been a few years since I shot my semis. I fell back in love with Pump when my daughter was on her way and money was tight. I realized I don't need to shoot multiple cases a weekend to be competitive and have FUN!
