A while back I was going to make one out of a VM-68... then I decided a pan fed version ala a Vickers would be even better... but who the hell wants to drag around that much gun. Not me.

My pan fed gun was even worse in that you needed to have extra pans on hand to load... and then you either had a pod monkey on hand to load your pans or you lugged the empties back to the dead zone to reload... Milsim points 5 out of 5 for awesomeness.... practical rec. paintball 0 out of 5 for royal pain in the ***.

And in a Castle game there is enough paint in the air to guarantee that you will have to move at some point... and the last thing you want is for something like that to be "mounted" somewhere that you can't take it with you when you do get out. Leave it in a corner and next thing you know it's being used against you.

Correction, APP made them for Engler who marketed it for tippmann. I have a connection to get these under the 1900 MSRP from engler if anyone is seriosuly interested.
