| STICKERS! | The Old School Challenge has announced that this is the final season for the OSC Tour
March 29, 2010: The Old School Challenge has announced that this is the final season for the OSC Tournament Series. We WILL play the rest of the 2010 Calendar but we will not continue the series in 2011. We are NOT going away, instead there will be an annual event aimed at bringing pump players together for a weekend of scenario/big game style of play and building on an already solid foundation. To all of our phenomenal players: You have all become like family and this annual event is being built for you and for all those players we have all over this country. The OSC has been running pump tournament for 10 years and this does not mark the end but the beginning. I started the series because there was nowhere to play pump competitively on the west coast that has changed significantly over the last couple of years and to truly foster pump play it is time for the OSC to take the next step in pump growth. We have welcomed all the new pump tournaments and events with great anticipation and the future for pump is bright indeed. We are not stepping down but stepping forward. I hope all of you support the OSC as you have in the past and we are extremely excited to turn the page onto a new chapter. Please help us get the word out that 2010 is the final OSC tournament series but that the OSC will be moving forward with an annual national event and I personally will continue my work in the international arena as a pump advocate. I want this to be totally clear that the Old School Challenge will continue but NOT in the area of Tournament ball. We are reaching for the next evolution and we are dedicated still to pump play in all its forms. I hope to see you out there this season and I hope to see you at the next evolution. ---Peace ---- Kristen Kleist – OSC Owner Old School Challenge Latest Event Results |

Such sadness. Hopefully my guys will be able to play out the rest of the season. I know Vegas will prove to be difficult...but if this is the end then it is simply what must be done. -curtis

Well, I'd say that OSC kept tournament pump paintball alive, so mission accomplished? I would go as far as to credit them for bringing it back into the main tournament scene. In any case, a big THANK YOU to the OSC crew for everything they've done to promote pump play. I'm looking forward to what you guys have in store next!

Sounds like they've accomplished their mission to get pump-only tournaments happening regularly on the national level, so they're moving on to something else. Personally, I think getting large pump only scenario/big games going is going to be much harder. Good lunck.
