I think it might be respect for the dead girls memory. One of those "machines" killed her. The fame of the of the weapons having belonged to the Boston PD in a famous case may taint them. Do you want to see one of them for sale on e-Bay in a couple of years, with the history attached to it making it sell for more?

Not really trying to change the subject... But just the other day, my friends son suffered a detached retina while they continued to handle them, after tinking they were empty. This wouldn't have ever happened if I were there.
This wouldn't have ever happened if I were there. It's about taking responsibilty, and having the courrage to step forward and say... Stop! That won't do!

The problem is the same with tasers, and similar "less-then-lethal" devices.

When used to SUBSTITUTE for firearms, it is a good thing. Hitting someone with a pepperball, or taser, is far better then a 9mm.

But the issue comes when pepperballs, and tasers are used as a substitute to ordinary police work.

So, instead of reducing fatalities, then potentially INCREASE them. This, as I said before, reflects a problem with the upper management.

Don't forget, Boston's bomb squad just blew up a traffic counter yesterday. I've already seen "End Errorism" bumper stickers lol.

Just imagine the terror it would cause if they were to come across one of these:

Some poor kid is probably going to get taken down by a SWAT team for bringing his potato clock science experiment to school.

Just glad someone mentioned this. Ive been in the game too long to see stuff like this happen with paintguns and be silent about it. I think its unconscionable that companies like AGD and Tippmann would stress the safety issues of their products on the box then sell them to police with the full knowledge they will be used on UNMASKED people. This is the main reason I dont support either of them.

I don't know about you, but I'll be standing right next to the bomb squad with a bowl of gravy when they blow that up.
