It is designed so that you can hold your reg., exp. chamber, or gas through and pump by pulling a second trigger. I don't understand how it could work without a return spring though and like was mentioned earlier in the thread, it would really help to have a second guide rod as extending the pump that far from the rod is bound to add a much larger moment (torque about a point) on that rod and can lead to kinking/binding if it is not engineered for the forces.

I have a 'hitman mod' (I hate that term) on my Sniper. I like the fact it allows me to keep my gun on target better without bouncing around when I pump it.

My bro modified his CCM with this a while ago(his own design), I found it very comfortable and it increased you pump speed also. Especially nice with the autotrigger.

Yes of course you'd need a return spring. I replaced the stock spring in my WGP pump handle w/ a green cocker mainspring, which works perfectly.

There is a small amount of twist in the handle now, but there's no binding. A little bit of play is more comfortable for me.

Maybe you. On my pump I have 1/8" with a roller sear its really quite smooth

He meant the pump. An autotrigger would turn it semi, but you'd treat the pump as the trigger.
